I just experienced this problem when I upgraded to 2.26.1-1: first time
the screensaver executed after the upgrade, I was not able to get the
dialog anymore. When I downgraded, the dialog apeared again.

ionice is not needed to start readahead-list with an idle priority. By using
s-s-d's -I option there's no need to depend on /usr being mounted and on
ionice being installed.

Hi,
on my system, laptop-mode dumps 15 lines of status messages to the
syslok every 60 t0 90 seconds.
I consider this a little verbose and would love to have a
configuration option to reduce the verbosity without silencing
laptop-mode
