Could you try to disable this init script manually to be able to boot a
2.6.30 kernel? Then you can try to run "strace /usr/bin/sensors"
and "strace /usr/bin/sensors -s" and send us the output? That would help
us to understand the problem.
 
Anyway, lm-sensors only accesses /sys, so it's clearly a kernel bug,
reassigning it.
