There are just too many alert boxes saying the same thing -- "An error
occured / User timeout caused connection failure."
Not only this is unhelpful, but very annoying also, because I can't
even close postr main window without closing all the 25 alert boxes
first.

Does the code fail if you dpkg-reconfigure and tell krb5-config that
you are using DNS? My view is that the authoritative state for
whether you are using DNS (or more precisely whether you want your
kdcs in krb5.conf) lives in debconf and if you change that state, you

Yeah, no I mean it doesn't really matter, but its also that it seems
like there's a lot of different libraries, even unused ones loaded into
memory for certain gnome apps and it seems like unnecessary is
unnecessary. But like I said, its just a "wishlist" thing.

I've tested the package build with a clean unstable chroot and a clean
Lenny chroot and the build does not occur with the current toolchain in
unstable.
Need to raise severity once that version of the toolchain goes into
unstable.
