I tried with a Lenny livecd. I can confirm that half of the bug is still
present. That is, the first test case (bug1.c) still gives the same incorrect
result, while the second (bug2.c) now seems to work correctly.

BTW, I humbly think that downloading the .deb as stated in
http://www.debian.org/releases/testing/i386/apds03.html.en is worse than
downloading the .tar.gz from the same place and where to download it is not
stated, just linked
