BTW, I have 2 mpd outputs, the pulse output but also a visual fifo,
however by keeping only the pulse audio doesn't help, so It's not
related to the visual fifo...

Looks like FF 44 actually made a change in here, making look lighter
what's not other tabs and the main menu (hidden by default), which has
the effect of a high contrast on dark gtk themes.
I'm still no sure if this something that missed testing, or it's
actually intentional. Looks like no one tested on dark themes, :-)

I just found out facebook no longer supports xmpp interface, and it's
using its own api [1].
However I found a plugin for pidgin on github [2]. It seems to be
working fine for me.
