[Bug 544526] Re: Downloads do not progress beyond tranferring to Ubuntu One storage
There has been movement on this. I removed the blank file from the ~/.ubuntuone/Purchased from Ubuntu One I then placed all the purchased music back into the folder, now the files seem to be half synced to my system. There is a screen shot of where it stuck at now. [Bug 424927] Re: include Brain fuck Scheduler
Darxus Sorry if my post was confusing i was comparing the kernel interrupts using power-top. With BFS enabled there are over 400 interupts per second. Without i sit at 90 interupts per second. i.e from powertop " 58.8% (733.4) : Rescheduling interrupts " This really could be a battery drainer as it will keep the cpu from entering the C6 state. I just tried some browser benchmarking (i.e peacekeeper and google v8) and there is quite literally nor difference. Right ok, i've seen the same high interrupt rate from the kernel happen before when using a 1000hz kernel, which is why i asked. this is affecting me too. Compiz goes mad upon opening chromium. 12.04, 2:8.960-ubuntu1 amd graphics driver. (4000 series gpu). Changing Vblank in CCSM doesn't improve the CPU usage. Nor does making amdccle wait for vertical refresh. Enabling tear free desktop does not have any affect either. Nor does enabling/disabling catalist AI. [Bug 803943] Re: compiz consuming a lot of cpu
I just updated to precise proposed. unity 5.12.0ubuntu1.1 and compiz is FAR better now for me. It is idling around 2% CPU instead of 30% when chromium is open. [Bug 803943] Re: compiz consuming a lot of cpu
Daniel. You are probably right. It was just odd the that compiz would only spike with Chromium/Chrome open. It would be good if one of the other reporters in this bug could try updating to see if they have the same result. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/803943 Title: compiz consuming a lot of cpu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/803943/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I just tried the above ppa on raring with a BCM43224. I still get a kernel panic. You can see the first line of the log is using the OS driver and then once the wl driver is installed a panic occurs.
