Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xsplash

The system seems to be hanging for about 1-2 seconds and then this
appears

[ 7.369669] ACPI Warning: \_SB_.PCI0.PEGP.VGA_.LCD_._BCL: Return type
mismatch - found Integer, expected Package 20090521 nspredef-940
[ 7.369679] ACPI: Invalid _BCL data

This unfortunately messes up an otherwise lovely boot process.
