[Bug 256593] Re: No sound/microphone in TeamSpeak
I think that my problem is within ubuntu, because if i talk without opening TS, i can hear myself loud and clear, if i open TS, i can hear the other people, but they can't hear me. I've tried once to use a record program, but it didn't recorded my voice... There's a few things here that i can't get it to work: Wireless (atheros) webcam (don't know the brand), and now the microphone. ;( -- No sound/microphone in TeamSpeak https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/256593 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 174256] Sound issues on Hardy
Public bug reported: While using Hardy Heron, i detected that my audio device makes a strange sound, a noise while i move the mouse, or use the scroll key. My audio device is: 00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SB450 HDA Audio (rev 01) (laptop) On Gutsy i had to edit the file, "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base" , and add to the end the following text: "options snd-hda-intel model=3stack" , otherwise i didn't had any kind of sound. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sound issues on Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 174256] Re: Sound issues on Hardy
Hey, first of all, i want to thank you for your speed to help, and i found a way, in the site that you said to fix the problem, i just add the " options snd-usb-audio index=1 " to the file " /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base " , and it fixed the problem. By the way, the problem happens when i had an MP3 player on, and playing a song. So, problem fixed. [Bug 202878] Re: Sound problems with Hardy
Hey, my problem is, if im playing an mp3, from xmms, and i open the firefox, or other program to see a movie, or something that has sound, i get that error, and the sound stops. On firefox, exemple, youtube, if i have any other program opened, the video stops as well. A while ago, i've edited the " /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base " , and i had no problem, but since i've formated the HD, i have no ideia what i to edit there. It's kinda annoying, and i have to stop any program, before i can open another one. -- Sound problems with Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/202878 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
