Public bug reported:

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo 1718 Laptop, with Ubuntu 8.10, 2.6.27-7-generic,
the thing is, i had wifi with kernel 2.6.27-5-generic (16 days ago), but then
there was an Update for the Kernel *5*, and it stops working, and its not even
detected at all.
On the Propriety Drivers, it shows the Atheros drivers, but i can't get it to
install them.

Printscreen of Propriety Drivers: http://pr0n.no-ip.org/stuff/01.png.

On ifconfig it only shows, "eth0" and "lo", i have no ideia what's
wrong, but it was some update of the Ubuntu.

lspci : 02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x
802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)

Thank you in advance.
