[Bug 33617] Re: X.org does not initialize screen on IBM T20, T21, T22

2006-08-27 Thread inos
T20, kernel 2.6.15-26-386, savage driver

I tried your xorg.conf but got some errors concerning dri in
/var/log/Xorg.0.log

I suggest to useOption "BusType" "PCI"
in Section "Device" ... rest unchanged!

testet with stellarium 0.71 (repos. universe, ...very nice program to
illustrate the sky) ... using dri ... works fine!

[Bug 49105] Re: not allowed to own "org.bluez" due to security policies

2006-11-11 Thread inos
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 8 ***

i can confirm this on dapper with exactly the same output...
and i am sure... there was a time about 2 month ago, all worked perfectly!

[Bug 33338] Re: bluez-utils can't start in dbus mode

2006-11-11 Thread inos
i have the same problem BUT using dbus_pin_helper is NOT enabled:

 # PIN helper
 pin_helper /usr/bin/pinwrapper;

# D-Bus PIN helper
# dbus_pin_helper;

anyway, after
   sudo /etc/init.d/bluez-utils restart

i have the following output:
   hcid[8545]: Bluetooth HCI daemon
   sdpd[8547]: Bluetooth SDP daemon
hcid[8545]: Can't get system message bus name: Connection ":1.5" is not
allowed to own the service "org.bluez" due to security policies in the
configuration file
   hcid[8545]: Starting security manager 0

buetooth is unusable! I am sure, some time ago (about 1-2 month?) it
worked without any problems...

[Bug 74141] Error:500 Cant connect to www.google.com: 443 (bad hostname)

2006-12-02 Thread inos
Public bug reported:

unbuntu 6.10
checkgmail 1.10
networkmanager 0.6.3

when checkgmail has been started prior a connection is established (e.g.
startup), the error message (and broken checkgmail-symbol) is present, even if
the connection exists in the meanwhile and a message poll works correctly.
a restart of checkgmail is the only way to solve the issue.

thx martin

[Bug 74141] Re: Error:500 Cant connect to www.google.com: 443 (bad hostname)

2006-12-02 Thread inos
thx fore quick reply!

Error:500 Cant connect to www.google.com: 443 (bad hostname) is only the
text in the error - message

the setting is mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom as you mentioned.

as soon as the Internet connection is established, all works but the
error message and the broken symbol persist.

[Bug 74141] Re: Error:500 Cant connect to www.google.com: 443 (bad hostname)

2006-12-02 Thread inos
as already mentioned, polling works fine but:
- symbol stays broken
- when the mouse pointer is overhead the symbol a tooltip is generated with
altering messages: 1. the error message, 2. "Anmelden bei Google-Mail ..."
(engl. sign in to google-mail?) and the message preview included.

after a "check mail", the symbol is fine fore ~1sec, then reverts to
broken.

[Bug 618253] Re: Error shown on screen after resume with radeon card

2010-11-15 Thread inos
I have had exactly the same problem (maverick, T60 X1300). In addition,
I was not able to switch from a console back to gnome. In all cases,
SYS-REQ + R then SYS-REQ + K (left Alt + left shift + print + [])
brought me back to the GDM login screen so a hard reset is not necessary
...

I updated the BIOS, now everything seems to be fine.

[Bug 541501] Re: [RV515] [LENOVO T60] external screen display shows "shivering", horizontal refresh offset

2010-11-15 Thread inos
I can confirm the bug with Maverick 32bit 2.6.35-22-generic on a T60 2GB with
radeon X1300.
After switching several times by pressing Fn+F7, the picture becomes stable
(some times only).
Anyway, sometimes compiz crashes when switching, then, the picture is stable as
well...

[Bug 618253] Re: Error shown on screen after resume with radeon card

2010-11-16 Thread inos
I have to correct myself, the error message is still present

[drm:atom_op_jump] *ERROR* atombios stuck in loop for more than 1sec aborting
[drm:atom_execute_table_locked] *ERROR* atombios stuck executing ED7A (len 86,
WS 4, PS 0) @ 0xEDAD

but never the less for me the resume works after the BIOS update, even
with KMS enabled.
