It seems to be an issue with docking mode only as I don't experience anything like that in classical mode. > I'm wondering, did I overlook beta test versions of 4.3? No. There was none, we just packed up cvs when "no pending issues" were reported. There was just some freezing stage for cvs and a bunch of people who actually use cvs versions all day long and gave the "go". We want to improve on this, however. By improving the the build process we hope to be able to release binary snapshots, especially for Windows, more often and in an easier way then right now. Additionaly, we're about to improve the source repository as well. This rework of the build procedure, however, needs quite some adjustments so we decided to first make a clear cut. > I would have reported issues like a mad man. In the past we never got any response to published betas / RCs. But I hope if we could come to some, say "monthly snapshot" in the future this will ease up as well. But in case you build Scid yourself, please feel free to report issues on current cvs right away. Note as well, that current cvs is still frozen to 4.3 sources. We will move the repository first before adding new patches to it. This is also some "lessons learned" on the way from 4.2 -> 4.3. cu Alexander ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Software Download: Index, Search & Analyze Logs and other IT data in Real-Time with Splunk.
