Hello, The first tutorial is almost done. Here is the list of pages :

Title Page

Preliminaries

Starting Scid

The Startup Window

The Tip Window

The Multi-Window Design

The Main Window

The Menu Bar

Customizing the Chessboard

Downloading and Loading Databases

The Importing PGN File Window

Free Database Formats

The Game Information Area

The Action Toolbar

Creating a Scid Database

The Database Switcher

The Clipbase

The Concept of Activity

Viewing Games

The Navigation Toolbar

The PGN Window

The Gamelist Window

The Concept of Filtering

Summary

Final Words

Index

There is still four pages left. The Title and the Index pages shouldn't take long. The Summary might be **Scid for the Impatient**. The Final Words will redirect the reader to the help pages, eventually to the next guides. So we can say that the first draft is complete. All remains is the Concept of filtering, which I think will be enough for an introduction to Scid Basics. There is some kind of alternative, after I finish this document. Either I try to update the help pages, or I continue the writing of other guides. I have a feeling I should start by looking at the help pages, to get a better feeling of what remains to write in the guides. In any case, a more realistic move would be to finish up this tutorial before Christmas. There are lots of details to tweak in the structure of the pages. I wish you a pleasant day, Benoit ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Scid-users mailing list Scid-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/scid-users
