I've got an attitude today and I'll admit that. I'm simply trying to get you to properly define your problem. Please refer to Eric Raymond's faq at http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html > My questions stands. Is there a version of RedHat where everything is > compiled with large file support - not just somethings? Instead of asking the question this way, why not ask about specific utilities that you actually need to use? Show us the mtab and the log of where it fails, and then perhaps we can take it from there. Perhaps there are comparable utilities that do work. I'm fairly confident in stating that if application foo is broken on the version of Red Linux that you've downloaded or purchased and it's current, then there is no other version available from Red Hat that it is fixed in. The latest compiled versions of everything are in Rawhide but this is considered beta and application foo may not work as is on your running version of Red Hat Linux. -- Ed Wilts, Mounds View, MN, USA mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Member #1, Red Hat Community Ambassador Program -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
