Hello,

The file system is ext3. Is there another file system available for Linux
that can handle 10Gb files?

The file size limit has nothing to do with teh version of Red Hat, and 
everything to do with the file system for which the partition has been 
formatted.

I believe ext3 does not have this limitation.
