This is what I would recommend.  Note, though, that what would have
happened in this case is that you would have received notice of a couple
of updates to openssl in July, and you would have upgraded accordingly.
You would not have heard about this worm or the fact that you were already
secure against it on that list.

When high-profile incidents like this occur, it might be worthwhile for
Red Hat to send out reminders on the watch or security lists that people
who haven't updated recently need to, and that those who have are already
secure.
