Yes, the vulnerability used by the slapper worm was fixed in errata
RHSA-2002-160, but it would have been nice if Red Hat made an announcement
to that effect. CERT Advisories generally include vendor comments. I think
it would have been appropriate for Red Hat to have CERT include a comment
like "This vulnerability was addressed in RHSA-2002-160" with a link to
the errata.

In addition to making it clear to sysadmins, it would have been a good PR
move.
