I think some of the confusion is over the fact that there seems to be
a presumption that every new exploit needs a new fix, when in reality
the fix has been in place for a while. There probably is little logic
in issuing a statement saying 'we are not releasing a fix for this,
because we already have released a fix for this'. The lesson is just
to stay regularly updated. RH has a good track record on security
issues.
