I couldnt s> find out where i can get these lib*.* s> Can any one please tell me how to install a movie player without much trouble s> of finding out some strange dependencies.. or is there any way in which the s> rpm gets installed by selecting and installing the dependencies by itself s> instead of prompting me to install everything. Check out Xine... http://xine.sourceforge.net/ It is well documented and will also point you to where you can download the drivers for viewing avi and Divx;) You can also go to http://freshrpms.net/ to get RPMS. You may still run into dependencies, but it is all according to what you have already installed.
