I've got a Dell Latitude CPx laptop running RH7.0 and XFree86-4.0.1-1. When I use the machine with a projector, I am able to get an image on the laptop's monitor *or* the publicly-viewable screen but not both. I press the Fn+F8 (CRT/LCD) key to switch the image target(s). Note that when using the "other" evil OS, everything works fine.
Is this a known problem? Is there (hopefully!) a fix?
