I made the mistake of setting up a MS Intellimouse on my laptop then when I ran without the external mouse the built in pad freaked. When I ran mouseconfig it kept puking. Finally I manually edited the /etc/sysconfig/mouse file and basically guessed on what to wipe out. After some playing I re-ran mouseconfig and set it up properly and it worked fine. PS My /etc/sysconfig/mouse file only has four lines and none define the device. I would think from that, that it should be safe to remove that line and then try to re-run mouseconfig. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Darren R.
