Hi Brad,
I dont know if am able to boot into the my Hard disk's linux partition.
When I Use the installation CD and choose expert mode, then I get a "#"
prompt. I am unable to mount the hard disk partition. May be I was trying a
wrong command. Can anyone help.?
This is what I used in trying to mount my hard disk partition:
mount -t ext2 /dev/hda3 /rescue
PS: I have created a directory called /rescue - so, thats not a problem.

On many RedHat and RedHat dirvitive systems there is a utility included
called
"mkbootdisk" If you are still able to boot into your Linux partition then
you
should be able to utilize that utility and make it work.
If you cannot boot into your Linux partition, LILO problems perhaps, then
use a
standard boot image that can be gotten from Any Linux distro's website and
can
be written with rawrite in MSDOS, then when the prompt comes up type mount
root=/dev/hda1 (or whatever your root partition is)
