I don't know much about this subject but have picked a bit up since I bought
a CD-writer. Try increasing the size of your fifo (it look like its filled
up) I don't know how to do this at the command line (I use X front ends) but
in my *limited* experience increasing the size of this dramitically made all
the difference to me between coast and toast. The man cdrecord is very
