Using the HOW-TO on linuxdocs, I am attempting to add true type fonts to my
Redhat 7 dist. I am a newbie, so please be patient.
Reach the point of running as a standard user:
$ xset +fp /usr/local/share/fonts/ttfonts
to set my font paths. Get the error
Major opcode of failed request: 51 (X_SetFontPath)
Serial number of failed request: 9
Current serial nubmer in outpout stream: 11
I am running RH 7 on my laptop, right now my readability in Gnome is low. I
tried a search on Deja (now google) and saw a few posts with the same
problem, not any with a solution. Any help would be appreciated.
