I understand that if you want to use the cd writer to copy a cd off the ide
cd-rom it has to see it as "scsi".  I've got real problems here- my 2nd
attempt at recompiling the kernel does not detect any scsi devices at all.
I've put almost everything scsi in (except scsi-tape), the only change over
the first attempt I've put in is put the scsi cdrom in as y rather than as a
module.  The first attempt I recompiled due to other module errors.  Have I
found a bug in the kernel or is just that my scsi card and cdwriter is too
new to be detected by 2.2.18?  NH
