I heartily second that. While Dell does sell notebooks with RH
installed, mine came from the University of Illinois stores and had
some other OS on it (some ugly, arrogant, closed-source abomination; I
forgot what it was called), so I did the install myself, and found it
joyously simple. Dell provides drivers on their website for APM and
video. Very nice.
