Do you have a workstation running linux? ... If you do look in the directory
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. You should find a file named ifcfg-eth0 or
similar. You will need to create this file on your laptop. The reason I did
this is that my pcmcia card never appeared in linuxconf. Also, If you are
using DHCP you will need to change the BOOTPROTO="none" to BOOTPROTO="dhcp"
and so I believe most of the the other information in the file will be
irrelevant, but I really am not sure so I copied the whole file just to be
safe.
