*shudder* I'd see about getting some other "broadband" connection (T1
at least) as cable line bandwidth depends on how many of your
neighbors are surfing the web right now. :-(
As for the hardware, well, basically, anything you can buy "off the
shelf" these days which will easily accept linux will do, especially
if you throw a LOT of RAM at it (256+ megs.)
You CAN do it on less machine and less ram, but if you're wanting to
host multiple sites and they're going to generate ANY traffic at all,
you'll need all the ram you can get.
