Hi all,
I am having a bit of trouble with a very simple thing that i have done lots
of times over... i am just trying to add a user using the 'adduser' command
in the following manner:
adduser -p myPasswwd aUser
i enter it, and then it sits there, thinks a while, then comes up with the
following msg:
adduser: unable to lock password file
Does anyone know what i could have done wrong? Or if something else is
wrong? The msg kind of worries me a bit as well...
