 It seems as if things are a little mixed up in the questions and answers, 
although everybody seems to understand one another fine :-).
 If you want to mount windos shares you need smbclient. If you want to export 
mounts to windos you'll need the smbd.

 Well, EX2FS 1.00 pre1 from John Newbigin works fine for me. It is not that 
fast, but pretty stable. There is write support, but this is not considered 
reliable yet. I can't tell you if writing works, I've been to chicken to try 
it yet. Try http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux for a binary and/or Delphi 
source. I am not sure the URL is still valid. Try a search engine if not.
