Hi Jack,

Neither MSWindows boot disk nor rescue disk can start the PC.  Also I tried
using redhat boot disk and booting from CDRom as well with an intention to
re-fdisk but I was not allowed to proceed after the PC started.  However
R.H.6.20 still can be started, working quite well.  I think the only thing I
can do is finding an solution inside Linux.

I will try Gordon's recommendation (MSG) latter.
