if you can use a windows boot disk you can get to an prompt and type fdisk
mbr which will return your master boot record to the original 'windows'
version. if you do this you'll have to use a boot floppy to boot linux
(of course i'm sure you can get lilo back onto the mbr).

:partition if you use fdisk. Then you can delete that partition andmake
:a new partition with a fat flesystem that will be recognized when you use
:a rescuedisk to reinstall windows 98. Of course if you do it this way
:all of the data on the old win98 partition will be lost.
