Hi all people,
In my hard disk MSWindows98 and R.H.6.2 are co-existing, both working
correctly. In an incident after a force-reset by pushing the said button
(because Ctrl + Alt + Del did not work). LILO failed to boot MSWindows98.
After started LILO --> "DOS" (in lilo.conf label=DOS) the PC stopped with
" - " flashing.
I tried several rescue/boot disks to boot the PC with an intention to Fdisk.
It did not work only " - " flashing on the black screen. I also tried to
boot from CDRom but it did not help. The result was the same.
BIOS detected the hard disk, Linux/RH6.2 partition still there and the
latter could be started, working properly. Only MSWindow98 partition got
problem.
There is no problem with the PC, it works properly with another hard disk in
MSWindows98 (I have a mobile rack carrying another hard disk)
I am looking for a solution to Fdisk the hard disk instead of sending it
back to the agent for checking / repair.
Any person has experienced this problem before. Thanks in advance.
