Hi all,
This is my first post on the list, after my first day subscribed to it i got
some 133 messages, but never mind, all of the information is helpful, i've
just started out, i know nothing about RH, but i have heaps of experience
with Windows.
I am looking to set up a linux machine that will be able to connect to the
internet, and via a LAN would be able to ridirect the connection to all the
computers that choose to use the internet through the proxy. What program
should i use? Where can i get it from? How do i get it to run/configure
and where would i be able to find some useful documentation??
I also have another question would it be possible to set up a mail server to
send and receive mail (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]) via a linux machine
providing the machine is on and always connected?? and again what program
should i use? Where can i get it from? How do i get it to run/configure
and where would i be able to find some useful documentation?? And is the
assignment of your own DNS hard to do??
