Darryl, I've had experience with the FastTraks, but not under Linux.

BUT: When configuring the FastTrak through it's own setup program (which is
stored in it's own BIOS and installs itself at boot), I noticed the PC sees
the drives through the BIOS hooks in DOS or Windows automatically. So the
question is this: Does Linux use the BIOS to talk to hard drives? If so,
then yes the FastTrak will work under Linux, if it has it's own 'drivers'
that circumvent the BIOS, then I expect it to NOT work.

Not much help I know, and unfortunately I have none in stock to test with at
this time. Sorry.
