Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, the Adaptec RAID cards have
no Linux support.

I've had good success with the AMI Megaraid adapters.  Lots of others have
had lots of success with Mylex and ICP-Vortex.  Good cards, all of them.

SCSI only, of course.  You know, that whole "multiple concurrent I/O" thing.
