The 386 will work fine...  I used to run a 386sx20 with 20M RAM & 120MB
HD...

I used Slackware, and then RH 4.2 on that machine & it performed beautifully
as a print server & router.  The only problem was that it was CPU limited
for the 
internal ethernet LAN...  It could never get more than about 1Mbps on a 10Mb
3com
card...  Of course, if your link to the world is less than 1Mb, then this is
not a problem.

I imagine 6.2 will work fine on this box.  All the stock kernels are
compiled towards
the bottom end, that's why it always makes sense to recompile after an
install
(well, one reason anyway)
