I am looking to install linux on a 486 to use as a router/firewall and perhaps a DNS caching server. The challenge is that my 486 does not have a cdrom drive. Can I create a floppy to do this install with these services on it? How? If I am not mistaken I can go into the kernel configuration to build a new kernel ( xconfig) but save it to floppy. Is that correct and how big would this be? Matt
