Unidentified subject!

Hi Nice people,

I wonder if I should ask this question on April Fools Day but here goes.

We have a new guy that wants to hook all our branches to the internet for
telnet and ftp. I need
a program or programs that can run on Linux that will show higher management
(no computer knowledge)
how exposed we would be without the extra security steps of a firewall and
other safeguards.
Can any one suggest something I can get and run easy? I don't have much time
for this but I feel it is
very important.
