I think what you want to do is use "fetchmailconf" to create a useable
.fetchmailrc file.  Once you have that, you can just type "fetchmail".

You can also specify "daemon <number_of_seconds>" in the .fetchmailrc
file, and fetchmail will run as a daemon, checking your mail after the
specified delay.  No need for cron  :)
