Juha,
I was running 6.1 using WM and gnome-session, or sawmill with
gnome-session or XFce or anything I felt like that day. Then I upgraded
to piglet and ran that during the Beta... then I upgraded to 6.2 and I
have had no problems at all... notably it is not a simple machine... I
run software RAID1 on a PIII550 with a pile of RAM and other cool stuff
with a VooDoo 3000 card... so far everything has been simple! The
upgrades (both piglet and zoot) were effortless!
