So that makes it ok? The MS website told me linux was not a good idea
for me, and that I shouldn't use it. Should I tell everyone else the
same?

And your personal preferences don't come into it.

Of course it is. And if you heard it second hand, don't use the word
bloat about a piece of software when (a) you have no idea whatsoever and
(b) you have a redhat.de email address that lends credibility to your
falsehoods.

It's just FUD. We criticise MS when they use it, why should you be
allowed?
