Hello all ..
I am considering a Dell PowerEdge 2400 for a client. I see that I can
have Red Hat 6.1 preinstalled for me. Dell also offers a RAID 5
configuration for this one.
Does anyone have any opinions on using a Linux installed Dell Server with
RAID? Does Dell do o.k. with the install? Does the hardware work well
with Red Hat Linux?
BTW: We're using a Dell because we've have good service before with them
for other things and to convince the higher ups who sign the checks, a
bigger name would help, and best of all we still get to use Linux.
