Hello:
I asked this question in comp.dcom.modems but didn't receive any
response...this is really the wrong place to ask this but I hope my Red
Hat brethren (and sistren) won't flame me. ;-)
I have a friend who is moving to Germany, and would like to know if her
Japanese model Sony VIAO PCG-505G internal modem (RCVDL56ACFL) will work
in Germany.
I know that a Canadian model (modem, that is) works in Canada, the U.S.,
and Japan, so is it a safe assumption that modems standards are pretty
much -- standard -- globally?
Thanks in advance...
