Has anyone used this RAID controller?
I connected 2 identical HD to the controller. Then used Adaptec's
config utility to create a RAID-1 disk mirror (one mirror the other)
with no trouble. But when installing RH-6.1, I still see 2 HDs instead
of 1. Never mind, I thought, so I continued to install RH on the first
one, expect to see miracle. Unfortunately, it is not there. When
rebooted, the machine hanged after identifying the 2 HDs.
Can you give me some suggestions?
