I aggree with Gustav for whats its worth.  I'd use memtest which I've used
to check the memory and is easy to use.  I've had this problem and it was
memory.  I bought dodgy memory and was told by a pc engineer if it is dodgy
it takes 6 months to fail.  Hope this helps-not very good news. NH
