Well, I'm resorting to writing this a 2nd time, and sending it
to specific persons who may have an idea.....
I starting running XBRU2000 on RHL5.2 (the XBRU2000 came
from the Apps or Powertools cdrom). I run Samba 1.9.18p10-3
on the 5.2 box, and this connects to RHL6.0 box with Samba
2.0.3-8, and also a Windoze 95 box, to back all this up.....
Problem I noted is that -- well XBru first scans the network
so it compiles a list of all the files to backup, then starts
the backup -- at the point where the backup begins, I find
that the RHL5.2 box's Samba, while still has a mount to
the RHL6.0 box, cannot see any files on that mount, whereas
prior to this backup, all the files were visible on the mount.
So something about XBRU2000 is killing the ability of Samba
to see those files. Any ideas how to fix??????????????
