Zoki,
Was wondering if you could clarify if your installing Mandrake inside VMware or
if your trying to install VMware on a mandrake System. On a Mandrake 6.1 SMP
system with the default kernel we have seen some compilation errors but otherwise
we have had no problem installing VMware on a Mandrake 6.1 system and we've
installed 6.0 and 6.1 inside VMware as well.
To answer Michael S. Dunsavage's question "what is vmware", vmware is basically a
software program that allows you to run multiple x86 OSes at the same time. So
you have Linux running as the main OS on your system but at times you need to run
say MS-Windows 95. Instead of installing 95 on your system you install it inside
the VMware program. If your having trouble picturing it please visit
