*** Here's the exact error message I get when I try to install vmware on a
Mandrake 6.0 with the 2.2.9-27mdk kernel version compiled for the i686.

## ERROR END ############################################################
N.B.
The follow up of the error message is logical since I don't have make
installed.
sh: make: command not found
### Something is wrong with the system include files on
### your machine! The file <linux/version.h> is for a
### Linux system but you are running a 2.2.9-27mdk
### kernel. This will not work for building the VMware device
### drivers; you must have include files that match the version
### of your operating system.
### END ##################################################################
Before going into experimenting and sleepless nights of trying to
understand why it doesn't work when it's supposed to (especially since the
goal is to buy the prog and use it every day without too much problems) I
was wondering if you would have some feedback on the reason why it doesn't
want to install. Is there a patch to be installed or something...!?
Cheers,
Zoki.
