Since you seem to imply that your cable company's ISP operation will only
give you one IP number for that connection (some ISP's accessible via
cable or DSL's will let you have several machines), you need to set up
your Linux box to do IP Masquerading using IPCHAINS.  Of course, this will 
also give you firewall protection!

You will need to use 2 ethernet cards (one for LAN, one for external).
