Any version of the Palm should sync with Linux. Palm has always made the
hotsync features of the device/software as version-independant as possible.
Most newer Palm devices can be flashed with different versions of the OS
anyhow, so if a conflict actually should arise, you could always flash to an
earlier Os version.

Subject: RE: Palm Pilot and Linux
So, I could sync up a Palm Pilot with Star Office on LINUX? This means that
I could write addresses and contacts and notes and maybe even email in Star
Office (maybe not email and that isn't really to important to me, but the
others are) and I could sync them up with a Palm Pilot? What program is out
there that will allow the syncronization with the Palm Pilot to the LINUX
operating system using Star Office? can you send me a link to that
program's web site?
Thanks for you help, this will help me choose to get ride of my old Windows
CE device and get a Palm Pilot. What version of Palm OS will do this?

Use Staroffice, instead of Kpilot - it not only syncs (actually the
process is handled by the pilot hot-sync daemon anyway), but also allows you
to
use all the data in a much better way ...
